United Power Technology increases production capacity to 1.1 million units per year

Eschborn, Germany, December 21, 2011 – United Power Technology Group, one of the leading manufacturers of engine-driven power equipment in China, has completed two new production lines as at the end of November 2011. After the completion of the new production lines, United Power has reached a total annual production capacity of about 1.1 million generators per year.

The two new production lines, one of which is for residential generators and the other for commercial generators, are part of the second phase of production expansion at the company’s production site in Gaoqi Industrial Park, Fuzhou. United Power now operates three production facilities with 24 production lines. “With the recent facility expansion, we have managed to exceed our target production capacity for 2011. We believe that with the additional capacity we are well positioned to maintain our growth and capture future demand,“ states Xu Wu, Co-CEO of United Power Technology AG.
